Pain on left side

I have issues being able to lay on my left side when I sleep. When I turn to lay on my left side, the pressure against the mattress causes a lot of discomfort. I am wondering what it could be?

Hi Craftycat,

-

I see you just joined us today. Do you have a confirmed diagnosis of CLL or CLL/SLL? Please read the very top of this page, the white text in purple background.

Most of the replies you will receive here will assume you are part of our CLL club and if you don't have CLL, they may be inappropriate for you.

If you do have CLL, you should ask your doctor (CLL expert preferred, but a local Hem/Onc or PCP might do) if your spleen is enlarged. Having the spleen, liver and abdominal lymph nodes enlarged enough to bother the stomach, bladder and other organs is a common problem with CLL/SLL, and a symptom watched closely by our medical teams. That might be the cause of your left side pain.
