I am new to CLL and heard about IGG infusions through a friend. Can anyone give me more info about these? Has anyone tried this?
Thank you and have a blessed day.

IVIG infusions can be given to CLL patients who continually get infections. I started getting infusions in 2013 and, each time, they were stopped after 12 months. And each of those times I got quite sick. In early 2017 I was approved to have them every 4 weeks for the rest of my life (I’m 71). I haven’t even had a cold since then!

Hi, I have been on IVig monthly infusions now for eight years or so. It has helped reduce my propensity to infection greatly. I do not feel up nor down before or after but I am sure it is effective and I expect to be staying on it until the sunsets for me!
I am completing my last cycle of BR later this month and have continued with IVig throughout this six month period. It has not stopped the development of the CLL cells but has prevented aggravation and illness through infection control.
Hope this helps,
Big B
Been on IVIG for 12 years for ITP and also infections. Now that I have no B cells from successful CAR-T therapy, the need is even more critical. I had a rash once, changed brand, and it's been a non-event since. Stay strong. We are all in this together. Brian Koffman CLLSociety.org
