There are a number of us (me included) on reduced dose ibrutinib. I have not come across any cases of people on reduced dose who had their CLL progress as a result of the reduced dose. And there have been a couple of studies on dose reduction of ibrutinib in CLL patients that indicate that people on reduced dose have same outcomes as people on full dose. This is one of those studies: lymphomahub.com/medical-inf...

In other words, dose-reduction of ibrutinib does not appear to adversely affect CLL patient outcome.

Did your doctor want you to start at a reduced dose for some reason?

Best to you,

kim

Hi, thank you for the feedback. My Dr. Started me on 420 mg but after a week, I was admitted to the hospital for low platelet count. Discontinued the ibritunib for a week and now am back on 280 mg.

I will check the study for information.
