Hi all - I'm new to here and was diagnosed with SLL last August (2018). CT showed extensive lymph involvement with a large mass of lymph nodes (conglomeration) in my mesentery/gut - 7cm x 3 cm. While I'm mostly symptom free, I'm starting to have discomfort and pain in my gut. I'm on W&W with bloodwork and follow up with my hem/onc every three months. I'd like to find a way to manage the discomfort in my gut as that is my only symptom at this point, other than some fatigue.
Glad to have the group. So many questions ...

My presentation is like yours. Things are getting “bulky” in my abdomen per my CT. I eat frequent small meals. I’m close to treatment so am kinda looking forward to not having that full feeling. I think I’ve had this for a few years as any abdominal full feeling has been there for a while and I’ve been able to palpate nodes in my neck for the better part of 5 yrs.
I’ve changed the way I eat over the last 5 years for other reasons, mainly to get into better shape and limit processed foods. It’s has worked well for that but over the last few years I haven’t been able to eat big meals like I used to.
Saludos

Hi. How do I have this stomach discomfort? I have CLL and I have been with Ibrutinib for 20 months, with good results
After a CT scan 3 months ago I was diagnosed with mesenteric panniculitis. I do not cause it, I do not even have too many significant nodes. They indicated a videocolonoscopy that I try to delay so as not to have to interrupt ibrutinib.
When I did not take this drug I did not have mesenteric panniculitis. I think it may be due to leukemia. I wish you an improvement. regards
Hola y gracias. Thank you for your reply. I’m sorry you have an additional diagnosis. Lymphoma is enough by itself. I don’t think I have mesenteric panniculitis as I have quite a lot of enlarged lymph nodes in my mesentery that are likely causing my pain. I read that lymphoma can cause mesenteric panniculitis.
