downed my first three 140 ibrutinib capsules Wednesday evening after 16 and a half years of wait and watch. The length of my treatment virginity rivaled the length of my actual virginity ( it depends on your definition of sex Remember Bill and Monica). Anyway I'm in the Ibrutinib/Venetoclax trial at M D Anderson now. I'm grateful for my long W&W it gave me a chance to finish working and for better drugs to come down the pipeline.

Glad we're connected here, John. We can compare notes, cheer one another on, and celebrate our successes. Quite an accomplishment, those 16.5 years as a virgin! Wow! I made it only five (I'm talking about W & W here). I'm IVGH unmutated, which is probably why I'm starting treatment now. Your long W & W will probably be replicated after your trial! Awesome!
