Hello, is anybody experienced increase of h LDH during on Imbruvica ?

Hi farber,

My LDH increased each time I had treatment that caused my nodes to decrease and my ALC to go down quickly. I believe that an increased LDH is can indicate that more than normal cells are dying, and of course we hope the CLL cells are the ones dying. But not too fast, since that can be TLS (Tumor Lysis Syndrome). I also understand that strenuous exercise can increase your LDH.

You should discuss your results with your doctor and confirm that the increase is in an acceptable or expected range for your exact situation, and not an indicator of another dangerous medical condition.

My experience agrees with the above. After a long time on Ibrutinib, which helped slowly reduce a heavy tumor load, my LDH has moved into normal range. D-dimer and Beta-2 micro are other markers that were quite high for me and are slowly normalizing. My max WBC was 350K. Now 10k. My spleen was once 4x normal volume; now it is normal or nearly so.
