I keep reading of people around the age of 40 and younger being diagnosed with CLL. Do we have an up-to-date the age profile is in the UK now. I was diagnosed at 60 but can trace blood tests back several years before which indicate I have had it some time.

Can't answer the UK question, but the U.S. SEER data is the standard used, and while the ethnic mix in the U.S. is different than the U.K. the pool is many times larger...

The median is still quoted around 72 for the uk but with full blood tests becoming more common for other conditions people are being diagnosed earlier. I met the family of someone diagnosed in his 20s at a CLLSA meeting a few years ago so the spread is very large. Uk info 2013-2015 - median from these stats falls between 70-74
