I was relieved to be told by my Consultant Dermatologist that the small lesion on my cheek was only a Acinitic Keratoses which can be put right with chemotherapy cream.
I went for a full check as I learned from this excellent, informative forum that we CLLers have to be wary of skin " issues" as the CLL can make us more prone to skin cancer.
I have been seeing this Dermatologist for a few years since before my dx because I am half Italian and have suffered a fair amount of sun damage from getting burnt every summer as a child. We did not know the dangers of sunbathing in those days!
