Healing period-waiting time to see good blood counts

I just wonder how long we have to wait to see that Imbruvica is working in the whole body. We are now 1 month time, and there is no signal in the blood counts. Still they are low. IS there anyone who is still using Imbruvica? and what is the duration to see sth is going ok.

Thank you

Typically, the absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) counts rise quite substantually in the first couple of months and then begin to drop in the next ~4 months... this occurs in about 70% of patients, others just see a slow decline...but it can take some time to show results.

If you haven't had a spike does not mean the drug is not working, it just means the response is different.

In my husband's case, it took about 6-8 weeks before we saw his hemoglobin begin to rise (it was around 8.5 when he started treatment) He is now in his 5th month on Imbruvica and his hemoglobin 2 weeks ago was 14! His WBC went quite high at first but as of the last check up they have started to come down.

Keep the faith.

My fathers' platelet is 16, RBC is 6.5 and WBC 1.1 and now he is also fighting with pneumonia . It will take time I think to see that blood count is slowly getting high.
