How wonderful to see the diversity of places and cultures that our members live in...the site is becoming truly international in flavour.

A wonderful urban view Ava, it looks like there's a storm brewing on that photo.

It's strange but no matter how different our external world may look, we all share that similar internal landscape of CLL and what it means to have it.

Best wishes and hope you're keeping well there in Tehran Ava :-)

Yes, Teheran traffic is quite something! But the mountains to the north are a different world... :-)

My wife and I lived in Iran for almost three years from 1990 to 1993. We spent most of our time in Ahwaz but I travelled a lot from an oilfield point of view, visiting Marshad in the north east, up to Naft Shah in the west and along the persian gulf coast down to Bushir. The range of temperature was impressive from high 50s (centigrade) in Ahwaz to some very bitter winter weather further north. We stayed occasionally in Tehran in a place called velenjak? but we didnt spend too much time in the city. The afternoon smog was bad. Due to issues with Ahwaz airport being closed for a while and landing at Abadan being subject to wind direction, partially due to the proximity of the border, we did the drive from Tehran to Ahwaz several times. We made some good friends there and it was very interesting travelling around. The caviar was excellent.

Hi Mijoed ,I am glad that you have visited my country and cities. But Iran, particularly Tehran have changed since you've been here. The next trip to Iran, I hope you have better memoriesπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‰πŸŒΊ
