Good news indeed! Given "The first trial to be brought to Australia through the program is a study conducted by the UK National Cancer Research Institute, aiming to improve treatments for people aged over 60 with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and high risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) where chemotherapy is not considered suitable." that may also help some CLL patients, given progression to AML and MDS can occur, particularly after immunochemotherapy treatment - which is pretty well all we have here...
