Just stared imbruvicia and got a little nausea....so many drugs interact with it.....any suggestions.....thanks....el diablo !

You should have been prescribed anti-nausea medication... contact your doctor for advice.

Did they give you printed instructions on when and how to take the drug etc..?

One patient I met who had nausea when taking Imbruvica/Ibrutinib was not hydrating properly. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water with the capsules. Also, If you are prescribe Imbruvica you should be taking only 3 capsules for CLL. Imbruvica is only a name variation for the same drug as Ibrutinib. Imbruvica was the name of the drug when it was approved for MCL patients who require 4 140mg capsule as opposed to 3 caps for CLL.

My mom takes hers at night. She sleeps through the adverse affects.

Thanks for your advice...my only problem is that I'm taking Tikosyn for A Fib and it seems everything interects with this drug....any suggestions would be helpful....the diablo!
