In North America, CLL is stage by the Rai system and SLL by Ann Arbor. In Europe, CLL is staged by Binet system, and I have no idea how SLL is staged.
How is this done for the U.K.?

In the UK CLL is staged using the Binet system
From reading it seems that both Ann Arbor and Binet staging systems are used in SLL management. It would be interesting to hear of UK SLL patient experiences.

Thanks Nick...hearing from a few SLL patients would be great...
A while back there was an attempt to get away from Binet, Rai and Ann Arbor staging to risk level staging, i.e. low, medium or high risk. I haven't seen this catching on anywhere, but given the (slowly) maturing science of genetic based prognosis testing, I would anticipate that the old staging systems will eventually be replaced.
