Cost of Treatment

I'm not currently in treatment, but anticipate I will be at some point down the road. I've been thinking about costs, insurance and asset protection and wondering what members of this community have experienced? I recognize it will be different for everyone, but perhaps there is some basic guidance. I'm on Medicare (through Kaiser plan) and worry about medication costs; it seems from my research they are expensive.
