Scheduled to start treatment end of the month to have CLL under control.

Felt fine otherwise and it’s pretty nerve racking going into a year long treatment.

Dr mentioned 70% of patience has 5 years remission after treatment….just wish to hear from real patients who have done same treatment to share their personal experience.

thank you sincerely❤️

Female age 83. I completed the treatment June of this year. I had a very easy journey with no side effects from either medication. June blood test everything was normal. Blood flow cytometry showed no CLL in the blood. I felt good all through treatment and still feel good. Have another blood test in a week. I truly feel blessed.

Had this treatment for a full year and although challenging it's not terrible. Very healthy now.

Like Smakwater said...The benefits outweigh the inconvenience. There are treatments to help manage side effects. My 2 biggest are exhaustion and digestive issues....both which have improved as the amount of cancer keeps decreasing. The other thing that I found beneficial is having a good support group consisting of chosen family, close friends, online support groups and the mental health support offered at my treating Hospital. These new CLL targeted treatments are quite an improvement over older treatments and Researchers/Oncologists understand what makes CLL different from other blood cancers. Sending you hugs and prayers for healing.❤️🙏
