My well care insurance for medicare part d does not cover Calquence unless I can't tolerate I brutinib.

I am on Calquence and have Wellcare, my CLL expert doctor & his staff, dealt directly with Wellcare to arrange insurance coverage through the specialty pharmacy that sends me the drugs each month. Sometimes it takes a letter from the doctor to the insurance company or a peer to peer conversation to get the insurance company to cooperate.

To get calquence approved did you have to show that you could not tolerate Ibrutinib?

That is my current problem with Wellcare, probably my Doctor is pursuing this route.
