Hi BobCLL,

-

My first suggestion is the note on this page that says: "*This community is not currently active*

We are looking for a new patient organisation for this community. Please join the active CLL Support Association Community to find support."

-

This suggests that you go here: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...

-

That is the international CLL Support community, and I am one of the 10 volunteer moderators that assist our 19,953 members. The link above takes you to the 205 times Calquence is mentioned in a posting.

I am on Calquence and have Wellcare, my CLL expert doctor & his staff, dealt directly with Wellcare to arrange insurance coverage through the specialty pharmacy that sends me the drugs each month. Sometimes it takes a letter from the doctor to the insurance company or a peer to peer conversation to get the insurance company to cooperate.

To get calquence approved did you have to show that you could not tolerate Ibrutinib?

That is my current problem with Wellcare, probably my Doctor is pursuing this route.
