Hi everyone!

I don’t know what to think about all this... When I was first diagnosed with CLL was thru my Hematologists , I decided to find a CLL Specialist also for a second opinion .. so yesterday was my fist appt with The Specialist and he told me that I don’t have CLL , ok sooo now I’m so confused! My hematologists diagnosed me with a Fish test, The specialist all he has is my records , no he is sending me for more test , Don’t no who to trust!! Since I was diagnosed Ism depressed I told my fam, my kids.. don’t sleep well , don’t eat ect ect , This is killing me!!

I'll take a shot at this. Cll is sometimes diagnosed by watching your white blood count over time. Maybe your count is in a border region. High white blood count is about 10,500. Counts can go up and down. Even if your blood count was slowly rising it may be years before you would need treatment. Also, even in the worse case it is very treatable and every year that is improving. What did you mean by CLL specialist and why were you seeing a hematologist.

Hello! My hematologists was the first one to diagnosed me with CLL.. My Specialist at MSK just called me this week and confirmed it is CLL.. thank you
