Fatigue and meds

I’m just curious how other people with debilitating fatigue are dealing with it... prior to treatment. I m still watch and wait and have been sparingly using adderall for fatigue after trying various other homeopathic treatments, I recently moved to OKC and docs here don’t prescribe it!

I was recently prescribed Adderall and it literally changed my life. It gives me so much energy and focus that I believe was significantly affected by CLL (I am on WW as well).

Adderall here, too. Kept me going in spite of fatigue. It had its limits., but it more than doubled my energy.

Same here, some days I just know it would be a waste to take it

Exactly. That little feature helped me recognize and deal with those times when I was truly far too fatigued to do anything. I play disc golf. Heard of it? The year before I started treatment, I was playing 36 or even 54 holes at a time! The summer my treatment started (in August), I could barely make it through 18, and when I got home, I would be flat out on the couch for the rest of the day. Needless to say, beloved partner was none too happy with both my having gone to play and my being too fatigued to engage or, God-forbid, engage in anything amorous.

Yes, I’ve played disc golf a couple times when we lived in Memphis! Fun stuff!

It is impossible for anyone to understand the fatigue we without having cancer related fatigue themselves. So I’m fine with them not understanding, I know they try to understand.
