JimboW,

When you say swollen, is the lymph node actually increased in size or is the tissue around the node aggravated?

Are the lymph nodes larger than before Gazyva (CT scan measure)?

Does your doctor state the lymph node swelling is influenced by the Gazyva, if so, what is their explanation?

Could possibly be from an underlying infection.

"Active CLL, Treated with Gazyva, swollen and sore nodes". Probably not a hypochondriac.

We have a blood lab here that allows walk in, and they will run a CBC with auto/diff for $20.00. It takes 2 days to get the results.

If you have something available like that, it is worth the twenty dollars, or you might consider a phone call to the nurse at your doctors office.

Depending on your stage of progression, age, co-morbidities, etc... early insight may be an advantage.

To help alleviate discomfort, you may try applying one of the rice bags that are made to warm up in the microwave. Drink adequate water with Gazyva, it is necessary to help flush toxins out of your system. Consider that the lymphatic system requires movement to appropriately clear itself. It goes without saying that our activity level is unique to our individual circumstance.
