Anyone similar? Diagnosed in late 18 but WBC spiked in 2017 to 17K. Now 57.5K with Lymphocytes at 83% Neutrophils at 14%. Currently on W&W........fatigue is getting the better of me. Not much help from hematologist.......any assistance is appreciated.

Hey Pokerguy,

I have been on w+w since 2009. My current WBC is at 62.8k. I recently retired and I feel great except get tired easily and have some night sweats, but not too bad. My lymph-nodes get really large sometimes but so far spleen is normal. My lymphocytes are at 88% and Neutrofils at 6.1% and both seem to stay close to that range for years. I am hoping to find a good recommendation for supplments such as green tea, tumeric and vitamin d-3.

I take at least 4000iu of Vit D3 daily and Turmeric every day. After seeing that mayo report on green tea I am looking to find a good product and dosage for that as well.

For the most part, I don't even think that I am sick. Other than to be very careful about picking up colds and flu and for that I get a flu shot every year, and have a pneumovax and shingles vaccines as well. You don't want either with a compromised immune system.

Best of luck!

Hey Schatzie, Thanks for the information.

I take: Schwartz Turmeric Curcumin (1500mg 3 daily), Nature’s Craft Pomegranate Complex (500mg 2 daily), New Chapter Green & White Tea force (1000mg 2 daily). Additionally I typically consume high protein shakes (34 grams/2 per day) with milk which helps with the vitamin D. My Hematologist recommended the Turmeric and Pomegranate, my other doc recommended the White and Green teas, I found that New Chapter brand; which combines the two. To this point I’m not sure how these supplements stave off CLL but I can say that I have avoided any colds/flus since I was diagnosed 16 months ago. Again the fatigue is just kicking my backside but I can deal with that. I too get the ebb and flow of enlargement of lymph nodes with a bit of spleen enlargement but that seems too ebb and flow. I had an extreme bout with night sweats but that was at initial diagnosis, none since.

Hope this helps, Pokerguy
