Hi,

Im a mother of 4kids,the lastborn is 2yrs old,she is a girl, was diagnosed of liver disease while she was 4 weeks old. I dnt know much of the disease because. she was not staying with me for the past 24mnths,she was staying with her mom,and living condition is bad at her place she is married to other guy and are having their own children, and i took the kid because she is my husband daughter, Im caring for her cos im a stay home mom.

What i have notice is itchy skin and jaundice, constipation. government hospitals are not helping that much, cant afford expensive hospital.

Any advise. please i will appreciate your input.

Thank you

Try a Children's Hospital, they are wonderful and have alot of knowledge.

Hi, do you know what liver disease she has and what hospital she usually goes to?

Hi

I'm assuming you are from the States? Are you saying that your step daughter is undiagnosed as to what liver disease she has; does her mum know? Someone has suggested children's hospitals - do these have to be paid for too?

In order for you to find support you could contact a UK based charity, CLDF.

They are based in Birmingham and you can also find them at childrensliverdiseasefounda... and also on Facebook.

They have family officer who you could chat with who should be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck and I hope you get sorted very soon.
