Just an update from me. I have followed the numerous posts and taken on board every bit of advice and would like to report that I am losing weight, giving up sugars including alcohol has proved to be easier than I thought and following a Mediterranean diet seems to have helped. Had my blood test this morning, so hopefully, this means I am going in the right direction. Fingers crossed and thank you all once again. Your advice has been invaluable.
