Statin myopathy

How long does it take to recover from side effect of rosuvastin. I had taken for 3 month. Still have pain in musle weakness after stopping this for last 4month

Hi Ttitly!

Everyone is different. I was on Atrouvastatin for 8 miserable months before I got my endocrinologist to remove it.

My GP found muscle swelling in my back at my rib cage.

Took about 3-4 months and the heating pad to get the pain to go. Occasionally I get twinges but doesn't last.

Try Bio-Freeze ( used by massage therapists) and now available at Wal-Mart and the heating pad.
