Hi Ttitly

Please read my post under statins.

I stopped rosuvastatin 5mgs after a 12 week course, in April 17, because of muscle stiffness

However, despite stopping almost 2 years ago the stiffness has progressed

Thank you

What are the symptoms you having

in reply toTtitly

Ttltly if you read my post it does explain that my muscle stiffness started after just 3 doses of simvastatin

I told the dr about this and he changed it to rosuvastatin

(I am a keen cyclist and was able to ride at 17 AV in Nov 16

2 weeks later I was down to 12 AV!

I am now down to 10 AV and riding solo

However, the stiffness continued, albeit very mildly

Now though, after about 2 years, I realise I made the biggest mistake of my life, as the muscle stiffness/achiness/soreness (never any pain at all) has progressed

If you visit askapatoent.com, there are thousands who have posted the long term muscle problems they are having, despite stopping statins very many years ago

Thank you
