Please ask your GP for blood tests and then consider medication.

I had various blood tests for another condition and when I saw a consultant regarding this condition it was mentioned that this had shown up , but at the time I didn’t follow this up any further

You need folic acid in your diet. This comes from leafy greens especially spinach and arugula, but also kale and broccoli. Beans are high in folic acid as well.

You can also take folic acid which is vitamin B9 as a supplement. It works best when taken together with the other B vitamins, B6 and B12.

Fish oil as well as vitamin E, and curcumin supplements will also help.

Vitamin C rich foods are also good as are the supplements.

I had bypass surgery and do not take any medication, just supplements, but I have a very well-balanced whole-foods, plant based diet and exercise daily.

It is better to deal with this issue naturally, pharmaceuticals all have side-effects.

You should test for fibrinogen and homocysteine in your blood work on a regular basis. Ideally homocysteine should be 7 umol/l or less, and fibrinogen should be 2.8 g/l or less, ideally closer to 2.35 g/l.

Yes, I neglected to mention, sticky platelets are extremely dangerous as they cause blood clots which can trigger heart attacks and strokes.
