Coconut Oil and Cholesterol. - Cholesterol Support
Coconut Oil and Cholesterol.
During my childhood all my food was cooked in ordinary coconut oil! I do not know much about Raw organic virgin coconut oil. I use coconut oil from super market, I use it on toast as the coconut oil in in a soft spreadable form in UK. Coconut oil works for me.
When I first mentioned people did not like the coconut oil. Now days every one wants coconut water and coconut oil. Only time will tell the benefits.
I am not that worried about cholesterol level, want to stay healthy by watching what goes into my mouth and regular exercise.
I have heard that Coconut oil raises the blood keytone levels to treat Epilepsy, and raises HDL
levels to improve the cholesterol ratio. Also studies have shown it can help with Brain inflammation and general brain health, also it is a great anti-inflammatory,sounds to good to be true, just wondered if any one else had any results with it.
Great for so many things and although I live in an olive grove in Greece producing litres of oil - I still like to cook certain foods in Coconut Oil.
I don't concern myself with cholesterol levels so have no idea if Coconut oil helps !
Sounds wonderful where you live, there are so many good said about Coconut oil but the best one is the Organic Extra Virgin Coconut oil.
Have you ever met an Extra Virgin ? ππ Sounds good. The husk and the shell protects whilst growing - its the processing afterwards we have to keep an eye on.
Organic Olive Oil sold by Bertoli in the UK and elsewhere is collected in tankers like petrol tankers from around Crete - so all mixed up together .... The Mafia still controls the exporting of olive oil to the US. Don't forget Italy exports more wine than it produces ??!! - so research your coconut oil with care π The food industry is as corrupt as Big Pharma itself ....
Mine ! Cold pressed - good PH - and only rainwater ... No idea about brands. Read a great book by Mart Rosenbaum - The Life and Lore of a Noble Fruit I think it was called - can't reach the bookcase π
