Watched this programme on BBC Four last night, it is a repeat but well worth watching again. Interesting part about increase in inflammation in blood after eating a breakfast of bacon, egg and beans. Watch the full programme on iPlayer.

Hello KatyB. You are absolutely right, for once Michael Moseley's programme was really worth watching. The scripting was excellent and the whole presentation was easy to comprehend for the layman. It's a subject we could all do well to know more about.

BBC 4 may well play the programme again alternatively it may be available on the BBC iPlayer but that will be for U.K. residents only.

Thank you for sharing. That was very informative. I had bypass surgery 2 years ago and now I know what went wrong (blood flow section of the documentary about 26-28 minutes in).

I was told there was no alternative to bypass surgery, but in hindsight a timely lifestyle change with respect to exercise and diet would likely have been a much better choice.

Maybe the bypass saved your life and the exercise and diet will keep inflammation down to a minimum. Well done for sticking to a diet after the op. as I'm sure some people think they can still eat what they fancy.

If it is the same program, 2015, I found it on youtube already. One nice thing about the BBC, they seem to tolerate non-fiction going on to youtube. youtube.com/results?search_...
