My art therapist challenged me to produce something on the theme of 'fish'. Having no imagination for pictures (I think in words), I produced the attached piece.
Once I had done, she did not ask me what kind of fish it was (it is my take on a parrot fish about to eat a bushy alga), but rather, seeing I had included three fishes, asked me what was the past, the present and the future. Boy, did that change this to being a deeply unsettling piece for me, with a happy present being threatened by a shark-like future.
It is not my usual at all, being entirely from some vague memories. No matter, I hope you like it. My apologies for my usual lateness.

best you have ever done i think. Composition is spot on with your "I'vegotmyeyeonyou" fish and and its lunch and rocks nicely in focus and your sharks suggested very delicately menacing. thats one you can be very proud of.
Thank you so much, Freda. I have been wanting and struggling for so long to produce a picture that says, "This is me; I am here". I think this one does it, no, even despite its cartoonish appearance. I had wondered instead at ;posting this week's other picture, of a European hare, but that just seems to be scowling.
