Where to start! I’m a semi retired fundraiser and part time registrar although I’m not working because of the crisis. Instead I’m caring for my eldest daughter who has learning difficulties with help from my husband of 40 years. I also have another daughter and a married son who presented us with our 1st beautiful grandchild on 4 April. We can’t wait to meet him in person.
I’m getting through the crisis trying, not very successfully, to be some sort of domestic goddess, cooking up nice meals and keeping the house nice etc. I’m also reading, waking once a day with my daughter and the dog, and knitting to pass the time.

Hi sheshy, nice to meet you. You’re certainly keeping busy caring for your daughter as well as everything else.
Try and take some time out for yourself too if you can. Take care and stay safe xxxxx
Hi sheshy,
Lovely to meet you and welcome to the Care Community. Thanks for such a lovely and informative introduction and for explaining your situation with regard to the care of your daughter.
I think you are probably in good company as a would-be domestic goddess. I just don't think that some of us fit the role too well, (certainly not me), but it is interesting to give it a try. It's good to have a strategy for getting through. 😃
How frustrating for you to have a brand new first grandchild and not be able to meet, and you must be bursting with pride and love and looking forward to that first meeting (and cuddle).
I hope you all stay well and safe and sending you very best wishes. Take care.
