I have had Atrial Fibrillation for several years, causing many Hospital admissions. In october last year i had a cardiac ablation, and no problems since.
Am i now able to say i dont have AF any more, and do i not have to declare it for travel insurance ??
Hi Frosti and welcome to this caring forum. I am pleased to hear your cardiac ablation procedure was successful. Your concerns about whether you have atrial fibrillation any longer and whether you need to declare it for travel insurance are best addressed by your consultant cardiologist. You may also like to have a look at British Heart Foundation website bhf.org.uk/heart-health. They also have a Heart Helpline [0300 330 3311] and many booklets are available. Please stay on the forum where you will receive help and support from other members.Thank you and best wishes.
