Second opinion success

Had my second opinion yesterday regarding all my eye problems from the last two years, he agreed that my left eye is truly stuffed (I won't use the word he used), he answered all my questions, even the one the other consultant didn't understand, non medical friends have understood what I was getting at, my right eye which still has cataract he's happy to do surgery on and take on all my aftercare, and I'll be seeing him from now on anyway, the way he'll do the surgery will be slightly different to the way the first one was done, I've never been against having the cataract done, I just can't cope if I get problems and the hospital aren't able to deal with them, so I'm going to see him in 2 months to discuss any questions, I've already come up with, as my left eye is totally useless for the first few days how am I going to cook a hot meal, also can I have hospital transport as where the hospital is there's some extremely busy roads to cross, not easy when you don't see properly, I also emailed the complaints dept and they've rung today to say they'll investigate all my claims and get back to me early February. So today is the first day I've felt content with my life for a very long time, hope everyone enjoys a lovely Christmas/bank holiday and best wishes for a good 2018 to you all x
