Hello everyone i am already a member of healthunlocked on the ra site for a long time. I have RA/fibro/cfs/polymyalgia healthunlocked.com/messagesand back problems. I have a very loving and caring hubby who does everything for me. I am still mobile, but i can't do a lot. I find while my hubby is working round the house/garden or allotment i am on my own a lot and yes it is lonely when your in pain. My best friend is my laptop as i am able to speak to people on here a lot. That said it can still be lonely when you are on your own a lot.xxxxxx

Hi Sylvi, and welcome to this caring forum where you will soon receive supportive replies from other members. Your Christmas tree and decorations look lovely. Do you enjoy craft activities? There are many great activities on You Tube. I like the glass jar painting tutorials. Take a look on there and there should be an activity that would be suitable and that you would enjoy. Are you able to go to groups and social events in your area? Local libraries are a good source of information in addition to the internet. Watching a nice film together is always enjoyable. I hope this is helpful to you and do stay in touch on the forum and let us know how you are doing. Do any other forum members have any useful ideas/suggestions for Sylvi, please? Thank you and best wishes.

Thank you for your reply. I do colouring in books and they do engross me a lot and i have some in three rooms in my house so there is always a book on the go. I Am trying to so some patches together to make a quilt cover but that has been stalled as i have had pneumonia and what with the chronic diseases i have it has been stalled, well ground to a halt at the moment what with Christmas. I try to help my dh as much as i can,but i always end up over doing it and pay for it afterwards.xxxx

Hi. Have you tried listening to audio books. You can get them from the library and have them out for 3 weeks. They certainly help to pass the time. Love your photo.
