I am a C3G patient. FYI/For what Its worth: I had myself tested for antibodies to COVID-19 on Friday, April 23 six weeks after completing the 2 shot Moderna vaccine during which time and presently I was/am on 1000 mg/d MMF and 5 mg/d Prednisone (this following 5 mo on higher doses of both). The blood sample was collected at a LabCorp site in Lake Oswego (essentially Portand), OR. The results were negative, meaning I have no antibodies detectable by the assay they use, which they describe as "semi-quantitative." The report indicates a negative result is <(less than) 0.80 U (units)/mL. I was 0.47 U/mL (clearly negative). My age (77) and current kidney function (eGFR approx 57, Urine Protein/Urine Creatine Ratio: 478, labs done 6 weeks ago) are probably also factors. I was hoping for better but really can't be surprised. My understanding is that past experience with vaccines is that they are still helpful in Kidney Transplant/Dialysis patients even if the antibody reponse is not detectable or very low.

Hi Rabj,Have you considered getting re-tested?

I have. I could go to a Quest Labs location (longer drive) or go back to the same LabCorp site (30 miles) in a few weeks. I also might wait for more nationwide results which I think will be coming from a large Johns Hopkins study.
