Please bear in mind that this site is for parents to collaborate with one another and share experiences and advice. It is not intended to replace or substitute the advice from medical professionals.

Please take note of the following points:

1) There are no medical professionals on this site, so please discuss your individual concerns with your local medical teams.

2) Please bear in mind that screening protocols do vary country to country so please speak to your own geneticist for advice.

3) When responding to posts, please consider the feelings of parents/families reading your posts. Parents who are new to BWS may easily become confused/worried by responses suggesting that they are receiving incorrect advice from their medical team.
