Hi guys, first I got my results back today from my MRI scan of my head. It said everything was fine, fantastic but doesn’t help the scream I put up with day in day out. Anyway I know this might sound daft but I’ve been doing a little experiment with my four tablets I’m taking for blood pressure and so on Instead of taking them in the morning I’ve been taking them late at night and it’s been much better, not great but noticeably better like today Its been pretty decent sometimes working without even noticing it and for me that’s good as my T is really loud about an hour ago I took my medicine and a statin witch I’ve not taken for about a week and now it’s absolutely going crazy. Coincidence you might say well yes that is a possibility also I’ve made an appointment with my doctor as I’ve been off my statins and that has also helped yes I know it could be dangerous as they help to lower cholesterol but the reason I made my appointment is my old doctor took me off my old cholesterol tablets witch I’ve been on for years witch were fine and I want to go back on them as these new ones are I believe a probable cause. Hope this makes sense cheers guys

I'd stick to taking them at night if it's making a difference. Even a slight reduction in noise is probably enough to to give you a bit of relief.
Hope your doctor agrees to give you your old cholesterol tablets.
I really do think we know our bodies better than any doctors.
Take care

Hello I am so pleased you are finding some relief..yes some statins have a lot to answer for my husband takes them he doesn’t have t but they make all his muscles ache. Keep searching good luck .🙂
Hi J,
One of my clients is a surgeon/radiologist who specializes in screening T victims. He explained how most radiologists don't know what to look for. There is a wide gap in attitude and theories on T within the clinical realm.
The good thing is, you have a scan that you can forward to other specialist as you may encounter them.
I trust the noise from the scanner didn't bother you?
Funny, I watched a documentary on memory research and saw them scanning a young boy savant. I wondered why they would subject a healthy boy to multiple brain scans and noticed they put insulated headphones on him, in the same scanner used for my brain scan. They only gave me little foam earplugs. ??????
That's interesting as i got tinnitus in oct 2018 a month after I went on statins. Which statin are you on?
Hi, I had mild T for about 20 years like I said last January after about 2 months after my doctor changed my cholesterol tablets the ones I was on were orange and called cholesterol or something like that. the ones he put me on are simvastatin although I cannot be sure but my T did increase mega and me personally I believe they are the course of it. I have an appointment in two weeks with my doctor il let you know when I change back what they are called.
