Burst blood vessel in eye

Can I please ask does anyone else get burst blood vessels in the eye. GP diagnosed it today as I thought was infection. ?from huffing. My blood pressure is fine

Yes, I get those quite often. It’s from coughing. If you’ve had a lot of steroids, they weaken your capillaries. That’s why we bruise easily too. Annoying isn’t it 🙄

I haven’t had any steroids but had an injury in that eye years ago so I think the blood vessels are weak anyway. Yes didn’t have any problems until started doing the huffing exercises for breathing. It is annoying as it started to heal then burst again when I did a fitness class 😞

Just another thing we have to put up with. I think it’s harmless, but it doesn’t look very nice

I get them due to my dry eyes. If my eyes itch, I try to avoid rubbing them, but once in a while, I forget and rub them like crazy. The next day it looks like someone poked me in the eye! Nor pretty.
