Although I have had contact with a Clinic, I still feel as if I need more help. The Consultant changed my morning/ nighttime Inhaler, Fostair/100/6, to 200/6. This has been a big help, but still not enough. There is no sign of Physiotherapy, or any other advice. Can anyone here help.

Yep you need a respiratory consultant that specialises in Bronchiectasis. You should be referred to a physio to help you expel the sticky stuff and help you decide if you need a device to help you with this. You should also be prescribed with something like carbocistene to thin the mucus. Find out the name of a respiratory doc that specialises in Bronchiectasis and ask your GP to refer you. Your GP won’t understand Bronchiectasis either. You should also be issued with rescue antibiotics to take if you get an infection. The respiratory doc should advise your GP on which ones and they should be a 14 day course. At the start of an an infection you should take a sputum sample to your GP for analysis to see if you are on the right antibiotics. I hope all this helps. If you head over to the lung conditions community on Healthunlocked you will find plenty of the same advice. Please don’t give up on this as it will get worse if not treated correctly. Good luck.
