Hi. I'm suffering big time. 2006 Rheumatoid Arthritis, 2019 Bronchiectasis, 2020 Diabetes Mellitus type 1. After the diabetes, everything else got worse. My arthritis now affects my hands as well as my knees. The Bronchiectasis has left me with stress incontinence, pulled muscles, regular headaches and shortness of breath. It increased in severity from 1 affected lobe to all lobes being damaged. I'm struggling to do my breathing cycles I am constantly coughing and vomiting. I don't know what to do. This time last year I was rushed into hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis and nearly wasn't here to tell the story. I'm worried, I have no energy, I just lay down to stop myself from coughing, when I try and get up my knees are so painful and can't lift myself with my hands and my blood sugar is behaving badly.

I need HELP

Oh I'm sorry to hear you're so poorly, please try to get your blood sugars under control first as I too suffered with joint pain until diagnosed with post steroid induced diabetes ,your immune system is being pulled in all directions .Ask your Dr to refer you for some physio for your coughing and also for your stress incontinence.I had both but now I'm fine .Good luck xx
Sending you my empathy. Are you under a specialist for each of your conditions? If not, please push for this urgently. There is a preventative antibiotic treatment to prevent severe bronchiectasis flare ups, I've been on it for 10 years and it has really helped me, only a respiratory specialist can prescribe it, you need a consultation asap. Sorry no experience with your other conditions but really hoping you get specialist help quickly.
Do u use lung clearance techniqies? If not,u really should at least twice a day minimum ( read up on huffing technique/ active cycle of breathing). Alsi controlled breathing is very helpful.practise so u can slip into it whn neededDrink plenty of fluid
