New bronchiectasis book

Daniel Pecault's book seemed to be the only one by a sufferer. I have now published mine 'Bronchiectasis: Taming it & Feeling Better' which is the story about my conventional medical treatment experiences ( simply repeated medication and cursory physio) and my own successful programme which has led to my hospital tested lungs having an age 10 years less than my actual age. Its 320 pages also includes a comprehensive study about what it is - causes, symptoms, treatments, prevention and international research.

Unlike Pecault's methods, mine are cheap with the only real cost being the purchase of asafoetida essential oil which is used for sputum clearance (through inhalation) and pulmonaria plants whose leaves are used to make herbal tea. Other components of my programme include correct breathing, positivity, good lifestyle including diet and exercise and the question of the relevance of post nasal drip.

The book's contents include diverse subjects such as the significance of nitric oxide production in the nasal area; the problems of the NHS 10 year plan for respiratory conditions; the gardening adventures of the Rev John Laurence in Persia in the 18th century and whether one thin pillow should be used instead of multiple pillows.

I received statistical assistance from the British Lung Foundation during my researches and their estimates of sufferers in the UK are quoted as being higher than those of the NHS -this is a very significant point.

I wrote the book to help others and give them another option of self-managing symptoms instead of/ as well as conventional treatments and also to help raise awareness and general understanding of bronchiectasis which seems to be a 'cinderella' long- term respiratory condition when compared with COPD, asthma, bronchitis etc.

Looks very interesting might give it a look. I think you can look at a little sample on Amazon. Thanks for posting.
