Hi Primrose, I would definitely carry on with Symbicort. I have Asthma and Bronchiectasis too and I have always been told by consultants to carry on with it, if anything you might need to increase it. All the best.

Thank you, CaseyC for your kind reply, I personally called the surgery a few weeks ago to ask if I could increase my Symbicort 400 from 2 puffs daily, to 4 puffs as I had started to feel quite breathless, I did not get to see a GP, as the receptionist asked me my problem & said she would speak to GP & let me know, she called me back & said the GP said that will be OK to increase the puffs so my repeat prescription was changed to 4 puffs, so I feel that I am currently on the highest dose of Symbicort & that I could not possibly increase that amount, I actually felt that perhaps going back to 2 puffs would maybe help along with the rescue pack, as that is maybe what is causing my problem.. Thanks again CaseyC..I wish you good health for the future, love & God bless..xx
