Does anyone with pbc gett offered the flu jab by their gp

I was diagnosed with PBC in 2008, because the Dr's term this as a chronic illness, that year I was given the flu jab and the pneumococcal vaccination. Subsequent years I have been given the swine flu and flu jabs (it is now one vaccination for both). My latest injection was just last week.

My husband has Cirrhosis due to some form of Auto-Immune liver disease, we both went and had flu jabs last week without side effect, we wern't invited for them just followed advice that those with liver disease/damage should get the jab and phoned up requesting one, there was no problem.

I got my first flu (yearly) and pneumonia (every 10yrs) jags last month although I was diagnosed last summer. I did ask last year but my dr said it was up to the consultant and my consultant said it was up to my dr! This yr I just asked my dr and got both. X
