I have PBC and I take medication for it daily but recently I’m always sick , chest infection

Throat infections

Ear infection

This is happening to me at least once a month now , does anyone else suffer the same symptoms with PBC

I had Hepatitis C for years before being diagnosed with it - which probably created the scenario for my PBC. Before I was diagnosed with either I had the same problem as you; continually battling a variety of infections - mostly colds and flu in my case. I think the assault on my body from the Hepatitis C left my body in deficit. I am assuming your provider checked you for Hepatitis B and C? Other chronic infections?
