Spirulina

Hi, my husband was diagnosed with PSC 2 years ago and has since been further diagnosed with colitis, IBD, early stage crohns and is also type 2 diabetic (a lot going on!) has anyone tried spirulina? I've read that it's effective for bringing down cholesterol and stabilising blood sugars but not if you have an auto immune disease.

There are no herbal remedies proven to support liver function. Sorry!

Hello

The British Liver Trust does not recommend the use of any homoeopathic or herbal remedies for those with any liver problems as these may damage the liver and lead to severe illness.
