Hi,

I'm contemplating going for Bepiroversin jabs, to reduce my HbsAg levels, which currently stands at 1012 iu/mL, with treatment (from a starting level of 3k+ 12 years ago). I understand Bepiroversin treatment especially works on people with a low HbsAg level. What number/s is considered a low?

Have you been given your vial load? This is the amount of virus in the blood, below we have what different numbers mean

With Hepatitis B viral loads are broadly judged as below

0 to 500 as a harmless uninfectious trace

500 to 5,000 as unlikely to ever cause harm or infect ,

5,000 to 250,000 as low risk and infectious via a transfusion of blood to a wound

250,000 to 1 million as medium risk infectious via transfusion and via sexual fluids,

1 million to 1 billion as high risk.infectious via transfusion and via sexual fluids
