Help please, my husband had a TACE procedure a few weeks ago not had the outcome of this yet. But, we have received this in a letter today ‘Background liver cirrhosis NALD, S6 4.5 cm hyper vascular lesion HCC 11 mm area with washout in left lobe suspicious for HCC, portal hypertension”.
Thank you

Which bits do you not understand? If he's had TACE I presume you know already that he has HCC (Hepatocellular carcinoma/liver cancer). This report confirms a diagnosis of cirrhosis due to non alcohol related liver disease, portal hypertension (blood backing up in the portal veinous system because it can't pass properly through the diseased liver). A confimed HCC tumour (hyper vascular lesion) of 4.5cm and a suspected further area of HCC in left lobe measuring 11mm).
