hepatology scan : Hi team had my bloods... - British Liver Trust
hepatology scan
Your doctor is doing the correct thing in sending you for further tests in light of elevated blood results. Hopefully there is no permanent damage to your liver and that whatever has caused your elevated results can be sorted and you can start to reverse them. Anything up to full blown cirrhosis is considered reversible so once the cause is identified and action taken hopefully you can slow or stop progression and hopefully even improve things.
I note you are on various forums regarding weight loss so hopefully this is 'just' fatty liver and by making the necessary lifestyle changes can start to turn this around. In your previous post on the forum you said you had a hepatology appointment scheduled for 8th May so hopefully you'll get answers soon.
