Hi hope this is not too much info , but I wondered if my periods becoming normal and regular again to the date every month was a good sign that my liver was doing a bit better. When I first was diagnosed my periods had stopped for around 6 months. Thank you

Yes it’s a very good sign. The liver plays an important role in the regulation of hormones. A regular menstrual cycle means that it’s being able to perform this function. It’s particularly important given it’s been unable to in the recent past.
I think it’s good too. When I was first diagnosed with Cirrosis, mine stopped for 12 months. Tge Hepatogist said my body had enough to cope with because I was so ill therefore the menstruation cycle went to sleep.
Mention it to your Dr if you are worried but in my case it was fine.
thank you x
hi my daughter was the same but she has been of the drink now for 45 days and her 1st period returned last week. Do you have Cirrosis? Pleased that you are recovering 👍
