A new network team looking to develop and improve liver services and care for all patients with liver disease in Greater Manchester is looking for a patient representative to be involved.
Below are some details and we’d love to hear from you if this is something you would like to take part in.
• The network covers the Greater Manchester boroughs.
• The patient representative can have any liver condition.
• The meetings are held online (on Microsoft Teams).
• The meets are 4 times a year and a couple of hours each.
• The Network team can support the patient representative to prepare for each meeting and to engage with other patients, families, and carers to ensure that they are able to represent the full range of views.
• If wanted, support from an independent advocacy group can be arranged to ensure the patient representative is able to meaningfully participate and feels confident and supported sharing their lived experience.
If this sounds like something you would enjoy, or to find out more, please email research@britishlivertrust.org.uk at your earliest opportunity.
Thank you 🙏
