I was diagnosed with NAFLD three years ago with very minimum support other than go away and lose weight. I have had a couple of years caring for others and now prioritising my own health. I would like support on healthy eating and losing weight

I can understand how you feel, I too put on weight while caring for my parents, easy on, very hard to get off. I've had very little help from anywhere other than this website, the helpline here and searching the web in general for recipes. I did get a referral to a dietician who simply announced that they do not have this problem in Scotland and was unable to help other than to look on the web, haha But, I have discovered that my poor Liver doesn't like my favourite foods, especially cheese. The Mediterranean diet is a good one as you can adapt it to suit your tastes. Take care.
