Jaundice - fancy a Friday laugh at my expense?

You may recall my husband has just been diagnosed with cirrhosis and they are currently doing all the relevant tests for the transplant list. Please take this moment to laugh at me for being an idiot.Yesterday evening, on a bit of a whim we took our children out for desserts after dinner. The sun was getting low and getting towards that "golden hour" light. The other thing you need to know is that I wear glasses that have a blue light filter coating on the lenses. If you don't know what that looks like, locate the "comfort eye shield" on your phone, it makes white look a little bit creamy coloured.

I looked at my husband in the restaurant and was worried he was looking a little bit yellow. Ignored it, ate more dessert, looked at him again, yep definitely a creamy tinge to him. Got more and more worried. Went to the bathroom, looked at myself in the mirror, realised I looked a bit yellow. And then realised my mistake....

Blue light filter glasses + late evening sunshine = everyone looks like they have jaundice. What an idiot. 😆
